it is recommended that you provide them at the time of your appointment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>On the day of the examination, you must provide the most recent results performed up to 90 days before the examination<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>On the day of the examination you must provide a recent blood creatinine level measurement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Take the usual treatment according to your class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<h3>Process<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>You will be asked to remove any clothing, jewelry, belts or other items from the area of the body where the CT scan will be performed that could interfere with the examination.<\/li>\n<li>A vein catheter will be placed in your arm.<\/li>\n<li>You will be asked to lie supine on a special radiology table, which will guide the body part being examined into a circular machine.<\/li>\n<li>During the scans, the examination table is moved along the anteroposterior axis.<\/li>\n<li>When prompted, you will be asked to remain completely still. After a few seconds, when the examination is finished, you will be informed.<\/li>\n<li>If you are given a contrast agent by the phlebotomist, you may feel flushing, a metallic taste in your mouth, headache, itching, nausea and\/or a tendency to vomit.
