dir=\"ltr\">Stress echo is a cardiac test that evaluates how the heart and blood vessels work under conditions of stress, usually physical exercise.<br \/>\nIt uses ultrasound imaging to create real images of the heart before and after exercise or the administration of a drug that mimics the effects of exercise on the heart.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Stress echo is an extremely safe and constantly evolving test which is the most appropriate way to do this:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">to assess the vessels of the heart and to exclude or confirm the presence of coronary artery disease<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">to check the result of previous interventions<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">to assess the effectiveness of the medication the patient is taking<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">to assess preoperatively in
