Doctors' General Clinic, with absolute responsibility and with the primary goal of health promotion, participates in the national program for the prevention of cervical cancer "Spyros Doxiadis" by conducting free Pap tests to the beneficiaries along with the free examinations of the corresponding program for breast cancer.

Beneficiaries of the Cervical Cancer Prevention Program

The free screening program is open to all women between the ages of 21 and 65 who have not been diagnosed with cervical cancer, have a Social Security number, and are either insured or uninsured.

More specifically, according to the ministry, beneficiaries of the programme are:

✅ Women 21 to 29 years of age who have not had a PAP-TEST or HPV-DNA TEST in the previous 3 calendar years who are eligible:

- Gynecological examination and PAP-TEST, and if findings occur, to have a Colposcopy and Biopsy performed at the Gynecologist.

✅ Women 30 to 65 years old who have not had an HPV- DNA TEST in the previous 5 calendar years and PAP-TEST in the previous 3 calendar years, who are entitled to:

- Gynecologic examination and HPV-DNA TEST and if findings occur, to have a visit to a Gynecologist for a Colposcopy and Biopsy.

Program beneficiaries who have an intangible prescription will receive a referral by text message or email. Those beneficiaries who are not enrolled in the intangible prescription can retrieve the referral with their Social Security number.
