Our clinic is now equipped with the brand new state-of-the-art Digital Mammograph from General Electric.
It has a Senograph Essential digital mammography system with a flatpanel detector, and is set to automatically determine the amount of kv and mas emitted, depending on the composition, size of the breasts and the pressure applied to them.
In order to ensure high quality imaging, it also features a dual target Mo/Rh X-ray tube. The use of Rh as anode material reduces the dose by up to 40% in dense breast examinations while maintaining the same image quality.
