The team of the Department of Thoracic Surgery offers comprehensive surgical care mainly to patients with all types of chest malignancies.
We pride ourselves on using evidence-based medicine and cutting-edge technology to provide the best possible care for our patients.
The department performs the full range of Thoracic Surgery - Lung - Mid-Thoracic - Esophageal procedures, with specialization in Thoracoscopic Surgery and Tracheal Surgery.
The mission of the department is to compassionately restore patients to full health through surgical excellence, technology and dedication.
Procedures are performed either through open surgery or through Minimally Invasive Video Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS)
