General surgery

The Department of General Surgery consists of board certified surgeons with expertise in minimally invasive techniques such as robotic surgery, laparoscopy and therapeutic endoscopy.
The full range of conditions requiring surgical treatment is covered and the most advanced minimally invasive techniques are used to perform safe procedures with a small incision, leading to faster recovery times, less scarring, shorter hospital stays and reduced blood loss for patients.
Excellent care is provided before, during and after both emergency and regular surgery, always with a focus on the patient.
